Chirp chirp

Mark, Otis and I were hanging out in the living room the other day and I heard something.

Out of nowhere: Chirp chirp. Chirp chirp.

I had recently changed the settings on my phone so that I might actually hear it more often, and one of the settings was for my phone to “tweet” when I got a Tweet. Clever, right?

Me: Someone sent me a tweet! Where’s my phone?

Mark, Otis and I get busy looking for my phone. When we finally dig it out of the diaper bag I find there aren’t any tweets. Or Facebook messages. Or missed calls. Or text messages.

Out of nowhere: Chirp chirp. Chirp chirp.

Me: What on earth is that noise?? Check your phone.

Mark: Nope. Not me.

Out of nowhereChirp chirp. Chirp chirp.

Me: I just don’t get it…

And then it clicked.

It was a bird, People. A stupid, real-life, God made creature. A bird. And it took me a good 10 minutes to figure it out.

The iPhone is making me stupid.

Ha ha ha!! I love it! That’s hilarious! We used to have a bird at our old house that would only chirp at night. Thomas made fun of me because I was shocked that it would chirp at night. I thought that they only chirped at daytime. That bird was so annoying.

Glad you figured out the noise! 😉
